First Numeracy meeting 2011
How is it?TEACHING NUMERACY
Maths is crucial to many of our programmes and getting calculations wrong in the work place can be a serious issue for many of our students.
Because some of our students can struggle with the maths component in their courses we are offering a series of workshops to look at ways to teach numeracy.
The first one is on Friday 25th February 2011.
Following workshops will be on Thursdays once a month.
Workshop One
Early measurement ideas
Room: 115 -1007

The plan is to get staff together from all faculties, one afternoon, once a month to meet together to progress these themes and ideas.
